Here Comes The Bridal! (Invitation, That Is!)

Artism by Nick now offers bridal invitations!
We have been dreaming of doing this for a long time...and finally, Nick's beautiful cousin Amanda has given us the opportunity! She is getting married in May, and she commissioned Nick to provide her invitations. She is an art lover, and she wanted an artful invitation. They are on their way to her Dallas home, and we hope she is pleasantly suprised when she opens the package!

This is not your ordinary printed invitation! Of course, each one is carefully handmade by Nick. (Mom is the technical assembly advisor and quality control supervisor). The set includes a flat invitation with vellum paper and ribbon, a reply card with printed envelope, a reception card (oprional - some brides may wish to include reception information on their invite), and outer envelope with printed return address.

For Amanda, we used vintage lace and neutral fabrics in varying textures and soft colors including ivory, taupe, tan and gold. Brides may choose this neutral scheme or any colors that coordinate with their special day.

These unique invitations are sure to give your wedding a personal, loving touch!

Bookmarks Are Here!

And now, new for spring, Artism by Nick offers beautiful bookmarks!

These bright, cheerful and durable bookmarks will enhance your reading experience. They make wonderful gifts that will last and last, and will offer the recipient the opportunity to think of you often.
They can be tucked easily into one of our Artism by Nick notecards for a special treat!

Our bookmarks are about six inches in length and are laminated to keep them looking great. They are finished with ribbon and include our artism by Nick label on back.

Our Cool Blues and Wild Thing designs are shown, but we will custom create your bookmarks in any Artism style we offer! (scroll to bottom of blog for design choices.)

Order several at our affordable price of $2 each, and have plenty on hand for friends, relatives, teacher gifts, Easter treats, or just because!

First Show

Last Saturday was the Artism by Nick debut into our local community! Dad and Nick were exhibitors and sellers at the "Walk the High Road for Autism" here in Wilmington, Delaware. Sales were good, and we got lots of positive feedback. Our favorite comment, heard many times over, was "These are really NICE..." To me that means a lot, because aside from the fact that Nick is productive and is part of a business (and really, how cool is that?), he has a good product.
People especially loved the "Autism Awareness" card, and the "Summer Rose" card was a surprise runaway winner!

Mom was out of town and missed the whole thing, but our buddy Cheryl was nice enough to capture this shot of the guys! We look forward to doing more events such as this, as well as craft shows and bridal shows, to share our fabulous "Bridal Gold" and "Bridal Silver" cards. Our next short-term goal is to start sharing our cards with local shops, and hopefully they would like to have a little artism for their customers!
